Connect your NAS

Sign in with your own NAS account to get an API key your AI agent can use to browse and read the files you are allowed to open. Read-only.

The same address you use in RaiDrive or Windows “Map network drive” over WebDAV. Must be HTTPS. On Synology usually https://yourname.synology.me:5006.
What you’ll call this NAS when talking to the agent. Defaults to the NAS hostname.
Adding a second NAS, or updating a changed password? Paste the key you got the first time. Leave blank to get a new key.

Before you start

  1. Your NAS administrator must have enabled WebDAV Server (Synology: Package Center → WebDAV Server, HTTPS enabled) and made it reachable from the internet.
  2. The address needs a valid HTTPS certificate — if RaiDrive connects without a certificate warning, you’re fine.

What happens to your credentials

Your username and password are checked against the NAS immediately, then stored encrypted (AES-GCM) and used only to carry out your own agent’s requests. They are never returned by any tool and never shown again. If the NAS can’t be verified, nothing is stored at all. The agent can only see what your NAS account can see, and it cannot change or delete anything.
